The Group endeavours to provide an inclusive working environment with a diverse workforce as well as to promote health and safety for our employees. We strive to have an inclusive work culture, because this helps create a good working climate in the shops, at the head office and in the stockroom. Matas wants to reflect the diversity of society. Special terms of employment like Project KLAP and part-time schemes help create the inclusive working environment we desire. Jointly with Landsforeningen LEV, an organisation for the disadvantaged, and Project KLAP, Matas offers mentally and physically disadvantaged people employment as service workers. At the end of the financial year, the Group had 12 employees working under Project KLAP.
