Welfare and responsibility in the workplace
In the Group we actively promote well-being and development in the workplace. We make conscious efforts to maintain a good working environment, which is why we hold annual employee development interviews and six-monthly employee satisfaction surveys throughout the Group. The employee satisfaction survey shows that satisfaction for the Group as a whole is high, with a score of over 4.1 out of 5. The survey results are used primarily to address potential problems.
In the hope of being able to improve the general level of employee satisfaction in the Matas chain, we always prepare action plans for the 40 shops that perform least well in the employee survey. Thanks to these efforts, among others, sickness absence in the Group has been low both compared with the general absence level on the Danish labour market and also specifically compared with other workplaces with the same gender composition.
